Quebec City climate is classified as humid continental climate. Quebec City experiences four distinct seasons. Summers are hot and sometimes hot, with periods of warmer temperatures combined with high humidity producing high temperatures, averaging 22 to 25 degrees Celsius (72 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit) and lows 11 to 13 degrees Celsius. (52-55 degrees Fahrenheit). Winters are cold, windy, and snowy with high average temperatures of 5- to 8- degrees Celsius (23 to 18 degrees Fahrenheit) and minimum -13 to -18 degrees Celsius (9 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit). Spring and autumn, although short, warm the cold temperature.

Religion

Religion, more precisely the Roman Catholic Church, has long been a central and integral part of Quebec society since the arrival of the first French immigrants to modern-day France. However, since the slow revolution and the Second Vatican Council in the 1960s, there has been a real separation between state and religion, and society in general considers religion a private matter. Economy

Most jobs in Quebec City focus on public administration, defense, services, trade, transportation, and tourism. As the provincial capital, the city benefits from a regional administrative and service center: for this reason, the provincial government is the city's largest employer. CHUQ (Local Hospital Network) is the city's largest organizational employer.

About 10% of jobs are in the manufacturing sector. The main products include pulp and paper, processed food, metal / wood items, chemicals, electronic and electrical equipment, and printed materials. The city is home to the headquarters of several leading companies, including: La Maison Simons fashion retailer, BPR engineering companies and Norda Stelo. Transportation

The Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC) is responsible for public transport in the area. RTC manages the bus fleet and has recently implemented articulated buses. RTC is studying the return of a tram system to help reduce congestion on busiest routes as well as attract new users to public transportation.

Rail transport is by Via Rail at Gare du Palais ("Palace Station"). This station is the eastern terminal of the main Quebec City-Windsor Railway. An intercity bus station, connected to the provincial long-distance bus network, is adjacent to the train station and is operated by operators such as Orleans Express and Interact.
