PGWP Postgraduate Work Permit (PGWP) is a type of work permit issued to graduate students after graduation so that they can work full-time, part-time, or self-employed in Canada. The duration of study is between 8 months to 3 years. After receiving your final grade (a kind of graduation), you have up to 180 days to apply for this work permit. Conditions for obtaining a work permit after graduation: Your study permit is still valid after graduation. They have applied for a work / temporary residence permit before the expiration date of the study permit. The duration of work in Canada should not exceed the standard set for students. There are two ways if you have a study permit before applying for a PGWP: 1. Leave Canada and apply for a new PGP from abroad. 2. To renew your study permit, apply for a new study permit at the same time and pay for both ($ 605).
